Hey, going through the very fun process of filling thr registration forms out for the stang. Can anyone point out the location of the engine number on a 67 302 to save me a little time looking around.

there in no numbers just block casting numbers above the starter on the block.Onthe eleoner car i just registered i put down engine no GT500E Evil and its now on my log book. javed

Haha, that's excellent. Probably didn't even think twice when they typed it in. Do you know under what conditions they ask for an inspection? Did the eleanor have to have one for example?

ive registered dozens of mustangs over the yrs not one inspection could be the glasgow office are a bunch of lazy buggers.

Maybe nothing to do in here, but was there 302's in 67?
I believe that 68 was the first year?

302's came in half way through 68. My 68 should have had a 289 according to the VIN. However, I actually have a 71 302 in mine. Seems to have been swapped at some point prior to me having it.

Very late in 67 I believe there were some 302s. It's a 67 but has an engine from 68 in it. Suspicious but in not bothered really. Registering all went ok
