would you not want to know what the vin no is and pictures of the car if there is an interested party in buying it

"javed" its paul from colchester, and you know me well, as we've had a few deals in the past....i helped my mate stu put this advert on ebay,as he did not know how to set it out...and as you know, you don't write your vin number down in an advert because all then "scammers" out there.
and as clearly stated in advert,he wants people to view, as car is in total peices, all wedged in a single lock up garage, as it would take hima day to pull all out, and load back into garage, hence no pictures....pointless taking a picture of a "pile of bits" wedged in garage.
any interested parties should ring him, and arrange a viewing, as pictures won't show you.
the doner project car was bought from ian at swanage a couple of years back.
this is no scam ! ring ian, or come and view if interested.
thx again

Paul,
I think its fairly common practice these days to show the vin number.I think a lot of guys were afraid it would be used to clone another car but I don't think that has happened that I've heard of.
If your mate is serious about selling he needs to get some great photos posted. It would be a pain dragging stuff out to take pics but he would only have to do it once.
Souds like a reasonable price for that amount of gear !

If someone from Europe for example is interested they're going to want to see pictures, they're not going to fly over based on 1 library photo of an Eleanor

its not hard to imagine a stripped shell with no front end, and an engine/box, and a pile of new parts in boxes etc...and yes, vin numbers get clone abroad, as 2 such cases iknow...all i can say, is 02 for fastback, and J code for 302.
interested parties if serious will drive down to view, but he has a phone number, and noone rings, just plenty of e-mails.
this is a kit form mustang, and he is not making out to be anything more.
at the end of the day, we can all see what 15k + of new parts listed look like, and a stripped shell.
stu is not trying to take anyones money,as its a classified advert, and people should come and view.
all i know, if you can buy a £22,000 project for £11,000,its cheap, and someone has lost £1000's
its all wedged in a single garage, and only if you are serious about buying, would he pull the garage out for a viewing.
he can take a picture of a packed garage, but that would not give a clue what you are getting ...please ring if interested.

100% agree with you there Dave, even a partial vin number, most people hide most of the number plate nowadays, everybody is getting twitchy about vehicle identity's but most cars plainly have the vin on the windscreen for all to see, personally I don't care if someone in outer Mongolia is driving around in a cloned boss with my vin on it. and personally, I would take the time for £11k to pull that shell out of the garage and take some photos. if I was to go and view it I would certainly want to drag it out for inspection anyway, so if 2 people view thats at least twice it would be dragged out.
