My hat off to you Ian, you're definitely what I'd classify as an old-skool hot rodder...

I've seen some piccys of the A or X style kits and heard mixed reviews (as with anything these days I guess). I've seen some fairly cheap on Ebay, but I doubt they'd fit the muzzy directly for the reasons we mentioned earlier. Will probably have to come up with my own bodge-it-and-leg-it version!
Interesting that you're using the more aggressive settings, I'm sure that running -1 deg camber can't be the culprit for the mangled outer bearings, probably more down to the combination of toe, camber and caster changing. I did have the monte-carlo bar fitted when I measured it, but I also found an error in my technique when gauging the settings. If I didn't reduce the friction/drag on the front wheels I found that the tyres would deflect the suspension settings enough to give an inaccurate/incosistent reading after jacking it up, adjusting or turning the wheels. I ended up resorting to putting paper/card under the front wheels to reduce the drag/friction between the floor/concrete and tyres to try and get more consistent readings for both toe and castor.
Anyway, for the moment I'm happy with how it drives, maybe in the future I'll try a few more tweaks and adjustments, adding the -ve camber back in and trying out the stuff on the rear. But for this year at least I'm gonna try and drive it instead of fix/disassemble/change/modify it constanly!
