Thanks, don't have any pics other than the ones from ad at moment. Been looking for bullitt replica at affordable price for a while now so took a chance and paid deposit on this as soon as I saw it. Car seems to be as good as described, owned by an old-school car mechanic who had done a lot to it. Have put car in secure storage for meantime before I take it over to bergen, norway where I live most of the time now. Should be there by end oct, then I'll post some pics!

Hi dag! I'm not in the oil industry, I run my own company which is in UK but my wife is norwegian and we live in bergen most of the year. Until 2yrs ago there was a ferry from newcastle to bergen which was perfect for me but it no longer operates. Now to go from bergen to UK you need to take ferry to hirtshals, denmark (20hrs), 4 hr drive, then esbjerg to Harwich (another 20hrs!). Have also been looking for mustang in norway but the right car appeared in UK. I had agreed terms with javed to buy his 68fb listed on the progress page but he didn't honour the deal (still waiting for reply from my last pm jav). Nice to catch up with you in bergen if the opportunity arises. Willie.

willie this was your reply
"Hi Javed, how goes it? I'm impressed with the way your eleanors coming along, good fitting kit. I noticed the green fastback I bid for earlier this year on ebay was relisted again. Spoke to the guy today (think you know him) and he said it's sold now but he's nearly finished another one to the same spec. Should be ready in a month or so. I explained that I have verbally agreed terms with you to buy your one and wouldn't back out of that deal without your agreement. His car or your car would be more or less same to me but his will be ready quite soon. If you weren't bothered either way I might go for his based on quicker availability."

i sent a pm back to you and said its ok go ahead and break the agreement as you were in a hurry for the car as i couldnt get it ready in a months time.Within 5 minutes i had the car placed with someone else.javed

Javed I suggest you post our whole pm thread (I would but I don't know how) instead of a couple of excerpts to try and save face. It will also show that you didn't even reply to my last pm, which confirmed to me you knew you were in the wrong.
Anyway I've now got a car and I'm delighted with it. Life's too short to stay angry over things like this, just wanted to make my point. Matter closed as far as I'm concerned.

Damn about the ferry to Newcastle!
I have also figured that the ferry from Esbjerg is the easiest way to get to the uk.
I live in Kristiansand, and i can see the Ferry from my house, and just a small drive in Denmark to Esbjerg.
Are you coming this way with your car?

Dag, ok I know what part of the country you're in now. Could take ferry to Kristiansand and drive up from there but will probably take ferry direct to bergen. I'm always short of time so I've asked my employees if one of them is interested in taking it over for me, and it looks like I have a volunteer now. What's it like for sourcing mustang spares over here? Expensive?

A ferry directly to Bergen, is that possible?
No problems with parts. I usually get my parts from the us, but if i need it quick i
buy them from one of the following places.

www.ponyparts.no

http://www.aarnes.no

http://www.sarpsborgmotor.no

I think prices are a little higher than in uk, but not a lot of difference!
