Not much to show really, just more coats of paint. I should have taken some photos when it was outside in daylight, but I forgot. Perhaps I'll go and steal some from peoples photos of Kingsclere  Smiley

Interesting finish! Cheesy

Well done for trying that route and I'll be interested to see the finished result.

What's the Amazon having done to it?

I've got 7 coats on one rear quarter and the colour and finish is rather good - considering it's my first attepmt. Only problem I have now is that when I wet sand it to get rid of orange peel it goes a bit pink. I need to add a couple more coats as its a little thin in places, wetsand it and then restore the satin marron colour somehow - I may try a bit of polish and see what happens.

The amazon is being completely rebuilt. The guy took it off the road about 3-4 years ago for a 'quick' job and has ended up stripping it completely as it was rotten. I believe (eventually) it will look fairly stock but with modern wheels, but he's making very slow progress due to a lack of money.

Here is the Mustang in it's current state.
I've always thought about painting the front bumper body colour.....so I gave it a try! I like it, but I'm not 100% convinced yet so I may strip it back to chrome. Perhaps once the whole car is the same colour it will look better.

I have also removed the sill trims and plastic brackets, welded up the holes and blended the rear quarters into the sills.

Gee's coupe has no sill plates either... I like it too, but for me it does depend on the car & colour to whether it works or not.
