A guy I know up Aberdeen way who was running a trans-am last year, had just brought up this pick-up day before the Errol show, couple of shots here - largely unmolested, he was just deciding which way to go with it or leave as is Grin

Took Monday off and got stuck in; refitted axleshafts, plumbed in fuel return line, sidelight and halogen headlight conversion (robbed loom from Mustang Embarrassed Cry), cured transmission leak, etc, etc.

Booked MoT for 17:20, by which time it was lashing with rain Roll Eyes.  Took first, tentative drive to the MoT station, trying to look/smell/listen out for anything amiss.  Got to the MoT station and guess what - it wouldn't fit on their ramp Shocked Roll Eyes Cheesy

Oh well, at least I got a drive.  Re-booked at a place that does HGVs on Friday at 09:00...

Yay - truck passed MoT on Tuesday morning !!  Grin

Went straight to the DVLA office in Ipswich and, praise where praise is due, the chap couldn't have been more helpful - in and out in 10 minutes and, to my amazement, letter arrived Thursday morning complete with registration mark and tax disc !  Shocked Smiley

No inspection required (thank fook) but they did retain the title and guess who forgot to take a copy...  Roll Eyes

Number plates and a couple of other small jobs to do, then should be able to get out and about !
