I just enquired to a Scottish firm £230 fitted at your home, and this is what they said :
Hi John,
Any Thatcham cat 1 alarm / immobiliser would suit your mustang.

Hi guys I hope you all had a good Xmas and new year.
I'm just a little curious to know why people use the quote facility so much on these forum posts. I find it quite difficult to keep track on a long thread where the quote facility had been used several times.I lose track of exactly what the poster is quoting and it seems to make fill a thread full of extra stuff that isn't necessary. I use several different forums and this one and the MOCGB forum are the only ones that seem to have this fetish for the quote.

Am I the only one who thinks this? Or and I just moaning? Now be careful how you answer this question Wink.

Just bad habit i suppose sometimes there are so many posts and when you reply to some else's reply it helps if you quote on what your replying even if its not diected to the main thread starter.javed

I think it's a bad habit when you start quoting pictures..... I don't like it. (mind you I might be guilty of doing it also....)

I understand that it's easier to quote rather than type out something. It's not hard to edit the quote so that only text you are quoting is left and the pictures can be removed. Boy I sound like the forum police Grin

I think its useful if your in a long thread and want to answer a specific question by someone, but its best of you delete all the irrelevant stuff, otherwise we end up with this!   Tongue
