I have also changed the title of this post..... dropped the EFI from it.
That's right, the EFI will be taken down this week-end. I'll eBay the parts (I always do good money on eBay, so it's no big deal). Will only have lost, time-pride-and a bit of money (you only live once...)
I had the Megasquirt 1 extra, it didn't work at all, couldn't even go round the neighborhood. Got the Microsquirt v2, which is a Megasquirt 2 in super small size. Bigger CPU, more memory more stuff in it etc.... It's a great piece of kit, but can't handle my engine for some unknown reasons. Truly a mystery at why it's not working as it should.
Learned a lot in fuel injection, the things you can tune is beyond your imagination. And there is no way, absolutely no way you can take a carb to that level of tuning. However I would not hesitate to do it again but on a 4 cylinders engine this time.
The order I place today with SummitRacing, was: new fuel regulator new fuel lines for my Holley carb (good thing I didn't sell it, I knew it would become handy one day) new ignition coil
With a bit of luck, it might arrive by Saturday, fingers crossed. But by Sunday, the EFI will be out and the carb will be back on. (not plumbed in, but fixed)
I said I would never go back to a carb, but I have no choice. Well there's one but it's a 4 digits sum to get a proper EFI system....

As per today, the EFI is off. I took the all thing down and installed the carb Just waiting for my goodies to arrive, that's dizzy fuel regulator and small other bits.

Thanks Javed.
I have a very short fuse for certain things, and extreme patience for other stuff. I will NOT sell the car. I WILL get it on the road for good very soon.

That's a shame.
The fellow with the fuel injected 302C with Megasquirt is just about ready to go apparently.

it is a shame, but it's not working on my engine at all. Can't figure out why. It's not a lack of trying, but I'm going back to carb.

I need to go to ThinkAuto this coming Saturday to finish up the fuel lines. I might be able to finish this by Sunday.

I bought a Mallory HT lead kit, they have enough length to do this.

Fuel line is 99.99% complete, just missing a 1/8 npt plug for the 0.01% . HT leads are done.
What left to do: drill four holes for the coil wire up the distributor +12v, ground and tacho.
Will be done next week-end.
